Portaits

This is the best portrait shot that I was able to get, and I'm rather happy with it. My daughter is wonderfully photogenic, and this scene seemed to to work out well for her.

Difficulties run into this week: Finding the right setting. We tried outdoors shots, indoors shots, cameos... In the end it was the closeup on a simply color background that worked best. No need to overthink, right? Tell me that at the beginning of the process next time. Lighting was cooperative this week, so no issues there. Then there were the difficulties of relying on another person for your subject matter. Luckily, as I said, she's very photogenic and she takes direction pretty well (for an 8 year old girl, anyway :) ). Once we got into a routine and she had an idea of what I was looking for, things went smoothly.
